Job Summary
The Sidebench apprenticeship program is a 6-month full-time paid rotational internship that is designed to provide the apprentice with valuable & meaningful first-hand experience across several areas of the company.
The program is geared towards motivated recent college graduates looking to gain insight into a variety of potential career tracks in the tech field, but all who are able to dedicate 6 full-time months are welcome to apply.

Business Areas & Responsibilities
Product Management
- Work with Product Managers & engagement teams to build project documentation, conduct ad-hoc analysis & research, provide input during solutioning sessions & design studios, and help structure and lead product testing
Sales & Marketing
- Work with the Business Development team to conduct ad-hoc analysis & research on target markets & potential clients, thoroughly capture important details as an active participant in BD meetings & calls, brief Sidebench partners on key info for pipeline projects, and help build pitch decks, proposal responses, and marketing materials
Business Operations
- Work with the Operations team to run & refine company processes across project budget tracking, finance, recruiting and office management functions, serve as chief greeter & director of first impressions as the face of the company, and look for and propose ways to make Sidebench run more efficiently through standardization & automation
Apprenticeship Schedule
Months 1 – 3 | Rotation 1 – Sales & Marketing Focus
- 70% of time – Sales & Marketing
- 30% of time – Business Operations
- Weekly check-ins with dedicated mentor
Months 4 – 6 | Rotation 2: Product Management Focus
- 70% of time – Product Management
- 20% of time – Sales & Marketing Support
- 10% of time – Business Operations
- Weekly check-ins with dedicated mentor
At the conclusion of the 6-month program, pending your performance and company needs, there is the potential to transition to a full-time, salaried role that focuses in one of the three business areas / career tracks (Product, BD, Operations).
Requirements
- Genuine interest in technology and business and the desire to learn more
- Self-starter with demonstrated capacity for independent initiative
- Strong research and analytical skills and problem solving ability
- Extreme attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be responsive, pro-active, enthusiastic, and adaptable
- Ability to produce detailed and well-organized documentation (have a knack for effectively summarizing concepts, thoughts, and research)
- Must be able to commit to a full-time role for a period of 6 months
- Experience with the web or app development process is a big plus
Apprenticeship Compensation & Perks
