SANTA MONICA, Calif., July 21, 2022 – Sidebench, a premier full-service product design and development studio, announced today that Christopher Brereton has been appointed as Chief Product Officer. An experienced product leader, Brereton has stepped up to fill the vacant role after over 15 years of innovation in the industry.
After joining Sidebench’s Founder and CEO, Kevin Yamazaki, as Partner of the company for the past two years, Brereton will continue his Product Leadership role with a new title. Brereton will be responsible for leading all day-to-day operations for Sidebench’s Product, Product Design, and Engineering efforts, including implementing the company’s strategic roadmap, driving corporate innovation projects, and incubating internal and startup innovations.

As a serial entrepreneur, Brereton rapidly gained experience through building companies from the ground up. After furthering his expertise in product management through positions at Cornerstone, Inspire, and Thematic, Brereton joined as a Partner at Sidebench. Brereton continues to mentor young product professionals and start-up founders through a myriad of organizations including Techstars, OnDeck, Climate Tech Action Network, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Ready To Succeed, and more.
